Gemini 335Lg is a standout model in the Gemini 330 series, serving as the GMSL2/FAKRA version of the industry-proven Gemini 335L. The GMSL2 serializer combined with the FAKRA connector ensures secure and reliable connectivity for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) navigating complex environments and robotic arms requiring flexible cabling.

GMSL2/FAKRA, Better for Robots in Motion

With GMSL2 (Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link 2 – a high-speed serial communication protocol) and a secure FAKRA connector, the Gemini 335Lg provides more stable and smoother data transmission with higher bandwidth than those with USB interfaces. This configuration is advantageous for robots in motion, as it helps prevent disconnections during high-speed movement, long-distance connections, or in challenging environments with uneven terrain and electromagnetic interference.

Anvil comes ready to withstand even the most compute-intensive AI applications with its power-efficient and feature-rich design. It supports up to eight GMSL camera interfaces, and when paired with Gemini 335Lg, the whole solution is ideal for complex vision AI tasks requiring robost connectivity.

Gemini 335Lg can also support NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Dev Kit via Connect Tech JCB002 GMSL2 Deserializer Board.

Seamless Switching with Gemini 335L

The Gemini 335Lg maintains the USB Type-C interface and data streaming performance of the Gemini 335L while adding support for GMSL2 and FAKRA. Both cameras utilize a unified SDK, enabling seamless application development and validation on the Gemini 335Lg using existing work developed for the Gemini 335L.
